The Future plans for KingsWay Ministries include continuing the ministering in Florida until such time as we are instructed to move back to the “mountains” (to wherever that might be). Also, we want to generate interest in the Community by the use of this WEB site as well as other personal and media contact (mail, brochures, etc.).
We have developed a plan whereby interested persons will be offered the opportunity to purchase home lots in the to-be-built KingsWay Community. This will be on a portion of the property that will be reserved for residences, with pristine beauty; great views, lots of foliage, complete privacy – yet “walking-distance-close” to your neighbors and the other facilities.
The residences will be for those who want to build a “summer home”, an “investment-rental” property, a retirement home – but mainly for those of us who will want to live and work there, in either the Ministry or in one of the number of commercial ventures that will be established.
Through the sale of these lots we will generate capital that will be used for the development and construction of the various ministry facilities. No individual will receive any financial benefit – all monies received from the sale of the lots will go back into the operation, to pay for the land and the infrastructure (roads, utilities, etc.) development.
The exact detail or layout of the Community as a whole will depend on the actual lay of the land that we will get. We have realtors in several areas of Western North Carolina who are keeping us advised as to when land that meets our criteria becomes available. Then, “showings” will be set up and the land will be assessed by the KingsWay Board of Directors. When a property is found that meets all of our requirements we will enter into an agreement on the purchase.
Until that time, we will be showing on the front (Home) page of this WEB site, a slide show of pictures that we have gathered over the past 15 years. Some of the properties you will see are still available; some will have been sold or are no longer on the market. However, this will give you an idea of the type of land that we are looking for and you can feel confident that we will get one of these or similar parcels for the future KingsWay Christian Community!

I described in brief the residential area of the Community. In addition, there will be a Fellowship Hall where various gatherings can be held, and an indoor swimming pool and health (exercise) facility. We will also have maintained and secure “walking trails” as well as riding paths for horses.
As far as “commercial” ventures, there will be a food market (“country store”) with gasoline pumps, one or more “fast food” shops (like Arby’s or Chic-Fil-A), soda and ice cream shop, one or more “sit-down” restaurants (either franchisee, like Cracker Barrel ,or independent), and gift or craft stores. There will be a “craft fair” area. Other shops will be considered as well.
The ministry area is proposed to have an auditorium (multi-media facility), a church (praise & worship center), a school (K-12) with day care facility, a Teaching Center, cafeteria and an Administrative Office building where Ministry offices will be located plus available office space for rent.
The Infrastructure would include maintenance, storage (warehouse) buildings, and utilities (water, sewage, phones, cable, electricity, gas, etc.), post office or mail room, an on-premises (volunteer) fire department and stables for horses
The whole Community will be secured with guarded entry and 24 hour security and EMT personnel who will be “first responders” if needed. This will be a large facility and all precautions need to be taken!
