In 2006, Teresa True, minister and co-founder of KingsWay Ministries (and good wife), passed away. Gone with her are the skills and insight into not only ministry related areas, but crafts and “hand skills” that she was well known for and which she generously shared with her friends and co-workers over the years. A prime ministry that she excelled in was to women and girls in the areas of abuse, emotional issues and factors in being being a good wife and mother (Proverbs 31).
Those types of outreach to women are gone and no one has stepped forward, at least in this Ministry, to pick up that “baton” and run with it. Thus, we are “handicapped”. It is a viable and needed area of ministry.

Another area that is currently lacking is the Teaching ministry – the setting up of seminars, retreats, conferences and the like. While in Florida, that was a major part of KingsWay; we held discrete meetings for families, women, children and ministers. Along with that we had over 90 guest ministers/speakers to participate over a 10 year period. This included denominational as well as non-denominational/independent groups.
However, with the loss of Teresa and the resultant migration from Florida, it will naturally take some time to become acclimated and “accepted” in the new area. That part of the Ministry will resume eventually.

Since the relocation of the Ministry to North Carolina, our effort has been concentrated on the WEB site and the outreach that communications technology provides. Our initial WEB site was established in 1996 at a time when very few ministries and churches in Florida had a WEB presence. But, we persisted and, as technology advanced, so did our WEB site. Seven different iterations have taken place over the years and have brought us to where we are today. I invite you to read more about this in the article, “Updated Site “Theme” for KingsWay“.
The major benefit of the “new” KingsWay WEB site is that it reaches far more people in many lands across the globe! There are an average of over 100 “visits” per day from as many as 150 countries. “Visits”, in WEB talk, means a person comes to the site and stays long enough to read and browse. “Hits” means a visit but only very brief (and that can include “search engines” that scan the Internet for new & changed articles (“posts”) and WEB sites). Hits on our site exceed 500 per day but are not reliable when assessing people who are actually using the site.
In addition, a data collection software package attached to the site shows a daily update, or an interactive readout any time if desired, on everything the administrator may desire. From these data we can track things like the number and types of visits, names of countries & town where the user resides, even the type of computer and browser you are using when you access the site.
Setting all that technology aside, we provide a platform, a venue, for getting Christian messages and teachings out to the world. Amazingly, except for the United States, most of our “traffic” comes to us from non-Christian and un-Godly nations! Apparently they are hungry for the truth and they are finding it at KingsWay. We currently (2011) have in excess of 200 postings of “faith-building” articles it grows by one or two per week. This includes contributed stories from our alliance with Guideposts, the US Army & Air Force plus other guest ministers and churches.
Eventually, the other aspects of KingsWay Ministries will fall back into place but, for the moment, a teaching outreach on the Internet is our mainstay and we will maintain our WEB presence as long as we can reach even one person!
