Rev in Review

I have been and still watch most aspects of items that are featured in newscasts. Likewise, I have several obscure sites that I frequent to get what I would consider “un-biased” views of the news. Whether it is “mainlying” TV networks or newspapers, virtually all express influencing opinions, rather than just pure reporting of events. My favorite is FOX News but even they are not always “fair & balanced” as they boast!

And, it is obvious that, as USA-based agencies, all naturally tend to feature mostly stories that are North American in nature. But, not everything happens here, and I use foreign sources as well to get information that is of European flavour. FOX’s British “sister station”, Sky News, along with Reuters, and the WEB site for the English-language version of the Jerusalem Times are favourites of mine that I frequent.

Why, you ask, is there such an emphasis on things European? Well, as the globe gets smaller and smaller (via modern communications and transportation), we are being drawn into associations with other countries. And, with the United Nations and the EEOC (European Common Market), and our own current governmental leaders trying to push us into a “Global Community” (or World Government), we need to know what‘s going on in the other 3/4ths of this sphere!

Europe, or more specifically, the Middle-East, will be the location, the focus, which will lead up to “The End”!

I don’t know if you are into eschatology but, as I read my Bible, things are lining up (too quickly if I had a choice!) to the great “showdown” and the “End of Time” as depicted in the Books of Revelation, Daniel, Ezekiel and other Scriptures.

During the last seven years leading up to Armageddon, the world will focus its attention to one of the smallest nations on the earth – Israel. Everything will seem to end as the last battle will apparently set up the destruction of “God’s Chosen People” – but, He won’t let that happen! Instead, He will send Jesus back to exercise His claim over the Earth, won at His victory over satan and the grave!

While we (Christians) all look forward in anticipation of Jesus’ return, not everyone would agree that the time is THAT close. Many will not be prepared; especially in the duty that each of us has to bring all our loved ones and friends into the “Kingdom of God”.

Last year (July 24th) I wrote an article about the Rapture of the Church. In it I described where the Church would be during the “Tribulation Period”. I also wrote, in February of this year, regarding my study guide for the Book of Revelation. That article pointed to an extensive study guide that I prepared after over 35 years of studying, gathering data, etc., of how to understand for yourself the scenario that is described in those Scriptures.

Since then, a number of persons have accessed that material, and some have downloaded it and have used it as a reference in a home Bible study!

I again bring attention to “the study” to encourage you to make use of it. Most people just do not understand the things that will happen during the Tribulation and, till now, it has been so complicated or difficult to line up all those events that most just defer to “read it later”. However there are many things in there that you need to know about and if you put it off too long, you may just miss out on some of the benefits!

I feel that, IF you would take the time, you will be better prepared. You will also understand the importance of  what is happening (news) in the world today, see that it is mostly fulfilling Scriptures, and urgently reach out to those whom you know are lost (unsaved).  We don’t want to lose them – eternity is a LONG time !!

I personally receive no material gain by your reading ANYTHING that I write. I receive no salary, no “expense account” or any monetary benefit. By choice, I operate this (Ministry) WEB site at my own personal expense. There are only two others who occasionally help to financially support the (KingsWay) Ministry in any way.

No, the whole purpose, as a Christian and, secondarily, as a minister of the Gospel, is to do all I can to reach out to the Body of Christ as well as the lost. If I can provide some understanding of things that affect your life here on earth, and encourage others to “get in step” with and accept Jesus as one’s personal Savior, then I am pleased.

I do not want Him to come back and find me NOT doing His work (2 Thes 3:11).

Click on Revelation Study (here, or at the top of the page) to begin what you will see is an exciting “revelation” of our God! If you haven’t accepted Jesus yet, we have a “do-it-yourself” guide HERE!

He DOES give “second chances” – but  at some point time runs out. Time IS Short!!
