Rev. Daniel True
Al Gore, Copenhagen, mysteriously missing scientific data, dock and trade – - – all these things are prominent in the news these days. For years there has been a coalition that insists that the world is drastically warming and that will cause severe problems, including the demise of all life! Others are concentrated on various gasses and other emissions and pollution as the causes.
While there may be some merit in what they are trying to convince us of, the fact is that this planet has been here many years and has gone through a number of various “cycles”, none of which was or could be controlled by man.
We are not currently in a natural warming cycle; perhaps another 500,000 or one million years will see the “pendulum” swing in that direction. Minor temperature changes by a few degrees one way or the other will always happen but not in the magnitude that we are being “frightened” into believing.
Next come “climate control” and “greenhouse gases”. Carbon dioxide is now the big topic. Humans and all animal life breathe OUT carbon dioxide. Just the livestock around the world create more CO2 than all factories and machines combined! But, God put a plan into motion to care for that imbalance – He had the plant life (vegetation) to breathe IN CO2 and exhale O (oxygen)!
As far as greenhouse gases, again, livestock EMIT more gasses than all factories and vehicles, combined! There are actually some farmers who creatively capture those (natural) gases and use it as fuel in their farm vehicles!
The fact is that God made all provision for we who dwell on His earth, and He did it much better than the worry-mongerers, who are only using these scare tactics to gain (personally) financially by the sale of books and on the lecture circuit.
Spiritually speaking, and you may contest this, we (humans) were NOT designated as caretakers or “stewards” of the earth! True, that was Adam’s job in the Garden of Eden. But he was fired from that position, and he and we were relegated to eke out an existence from the land.
In actuality, earth was made to last only a specific time. It is destined to fail (see Rev. 8:7-11). We cannot stop it from happening. Sure, we want to clean up our mess as we go, if for nothing more than the view and disease (and the odor that would result) if we didn’t.

But, then, when Jesus returns, the earth will become “new” again and He will reign for 1,000 years. After that, the earth and “the Heavens” will be destroyed and a new Heaven and a new earth will be created. You can be sure it will be PERFECT and can last forever!
How many times have I said, “People, get ready”?! Be a part of that 1,000-year family.
